I wanted to create a behind the scenes look for my clients so they know what to expect from their boudoir Photography session. As a professional photographer here in Southern California, I have been photographing petites to plus sizes for more than the last 20 years. I truly believe that every woman should give herself the gift of amazing images and the opportunity to see herself for the beauty that she really is. I’m so excited to announce that my third photography ‘how to’ book finally has a release date. August 11, 2015 can’t come soon enough for me but my wonderful publisher Amherst Media already has it on Amazon for pre-sale (and so that I can look at the cover and smile). Los Alamitos | Bridal Boudoir | Sexiest Gift | Engagement | Wedding

With so many people getting engaged over the holidays, I wanted to make a post about our bridal boudoir sessions. They are just like our regular boudoir sessions but with a lot of bridal elements included. Bring your veil, wedding shoes and jewelry, lingerie for your honeymoon or even something from your fiance’s closet. I’ve photographed hundreds of weddings and seeing the look on their face when they see their gift is priceless.

You can bring as many outfits as you like for your session and if you do our Little Black Book special listed here on the blog, you’ll have 3 hours of time in the studio between hair and makeup and your session. You can even do your session outdoors if you’d like. Sessions should be done at least 6 weeks before your wedding and if you’d like to do your session outdoors or incorporate motorcycles or cars, be sure to call asap to set your appointment as those sessions require a bit of extra planning & time.

PS – This is also makes for an awesome anniversary gift and for you newlyweds, the traditional first anniversary gift is paper so a gorgeous print or album of you is perfect!
